May 2008. Check out our new addition - Trigger (Lemko's Shootin' Star at Rocket) - who comes to us from Lemko Boxers. Thank you, Jessica, for this very special puppy.
25/26 April, Beaumont, TX. Star earns her CD this weekend and also has 2 qualifying scores in Rally Excellent. I am so very proud of her. She is now Ch. Bluecollar's Starship Mercury CD RA NA NAJ CGC TT. This is her 7th AKC title achieved so far (CH, CD, RN, RA, NA, NAJ and NJP)
5 April, Crosby, TX. Chloe (Rocket's Walk 'N The Clouds) goes Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex under judge Dr Steve Keating, handled by Tina Starr. This is Chloe's first point, so WAY TO GO girl!!!
8 March 2008. Sam (Rocket's Space Cowboy) goes Winner's Dog for 1 point under judge Mr Vincent P Chianese, handled by Terri Galle. This puts Sam on 8 points.
16/17 February 2008. On Saturday in San Marcos, TX, Sam (Rocket's Space Cowboy) goes Winner's Dog for 1 point under judge Dr Ralph Graff, handled by Terri Galle. Then on Sunday, Sam went Reserve Winner's Dog under judge Mrs Joan Anselm.
Also, in Denver, CO, Max (Rocket's Red Glare) goes Reserve Winner's Dog to a 3 point Major under judge Ms Charlotte Clem McGowan, handled by Mitch Dunn. Max is a plain fawn boy, and is a littermate to Sam. Congratulations to both boys!
31 January 2008. Skye passes her Canine Good Citizen test tonight at 13 months old. Way to go, baby girl!!! She is now known as Rocket's Sky's The Limit, CGC.
12 January 2008. Dallas, TX. My beautiful girl, Star, earned her Rally Advanced Title this weekend and we had a BLAST!!! On Friday she even got a First Place with a score of 98 out of 100. At the same shows, her son, Sam, had 2 Reserve Winner's Dog, handled by Terri Galle.

8 December 2007, Gonzales, LA. Rocket's Space Cowboy (Sam) goes Reserve Winner's Dog to a 4 point major under judge Mr Roger Hartinger. At these shows Sam won his class 3 out of 4 days handled by Terri Galle.
1/2 December 2007, Conroe, TX. On Saturday Rocket's Space Cowboy (Sam) goes Winner's Dog for 1 point under judge Dr. Donald Gill, handled by Terri Galle. Then on Sunday, Sam goes Winner's Dog, Best of Winner's and Best of Opposite Sex, over 2 specials, for 2 points. The judge was Mr Normal Herbel and again, Sam was beautifully presented by Terri Galle.
25 November 2007, Waco, TX. Rocket's Space Cowboy goes Winner's Dog and Best of Winners under judge Mrs Judith A Brown. Sam was handled to this win by Terri Galle.
24 November 2007. Mr Spock, sire of Star's litter, earned his first agility title today. Congratulations Josie and Spock! What an achievement!!! Spock is now known as Am/Can Ch. Naja's Enterprise of Summer, AGN. More info on Mr Spock can be seen here - Summer Boxers.
12 October 2007, Canton, TX. Rocket's Walk 'N The Clouds won Best Junior Puppy in Sweeps under breeder judge Ms Susan VonRothkirch at the Dallas Boxer Club fall specialty. Chloe was handled to this win by Ike Liotto.
29/30 September 2007, Lubbock, TX. On Saturday Rocket's Space Cowboy goes RWD under judge, Mr Joe Tacker, and on Sunday Sam goes WD and BOW under judge, Mrs Christina Hubbell. Sam was handled to these wins by Terri Galle. On Sunday his mom, Kitty Barnes, took him back in for the Best of Breed competition where he went BOW.
29 September 2007, Lubbock, TX. Star earns her first Rally Advanced leg and a 2nd place. She was really lucky to qualify given that she was sooooooo distracted by the stuffed longhorn toys on the figure 8 excercise. It is a wonder she didn't pick them up and run off with them.
2nd September 2007 - Shaka turns 9 years old. Happy birthday old man!!!
31st August 2007 - Rocket's Space Cowboy wins his class in Monroe, LA and goes on to win Best Boxer Puppy under judge Mrs Mildred Byrant. Sam then goes on to win a Working Group Puppy 3. Sam was handled to these wins by Terri Galle. Sam continued to impress this weekend, winning his class 3 out of 4 days with some strong competition. Another littermate, Rocket's Red Glare was in his first show in Cheyenne, WY and won his class on Saturday handled by Mitch Dunn.
12 August 2007 - 2nd Novice Obedience Leg. Today, in Corpus Christi, Star earned her 2nd novice obedience leg with a 3rd place and a good showing. One more to go!!!
22 July 2007 - Rocket's Walk 'N The Clouds won Best Puppy in Sweeps under judge Mr Carl Sanders on Wednesday, and then again under judge Mr Larry Dewey on Friday. Chloe was handled to her wins by Ike Liotto.
14/15 July 2007 - In San Antonio, TX, Rockets Space Cowboy goes RWD both days under judges Mr William Bergum & Mr Dana Cline.
1 July 2007. Rocket's Space Cowboy wins his 1st point by going WD and BOW in Oklahoma City at the tender age of 6 months and 5 days. It seems he is following in the footsteps of his dam, who also won a point in her first show weekend. Sam was beautifully presented by Terri Galle for this win. Way to go Sam!!!!

17 June 2007 - Star earns her Novice Jumpers Preferred (NJP) agility title this weekend with 3 first places and Q's on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. She also earns a 2nd place and a Q towards her Novice Agility Preferred title. I have dropped Star back to the preferred novice level whilst we work on some speed issues.
6 May 2007 - Skye places 2nd in her 3-6 month old class at the Puppy Match at ABC.
29 April 2007 - I am so proud!!! Yesterday, at her very first obedience trial Star earned a 1st place and her first leg towards her CD. What a girl!!!
8 April 2007 - Star's sire and dam become a Sire and Dam of Merit today. Congratulations to Dan & Wendy Still of Bluecollar Boxers. What an amazing accomplishment for two beautiful boxers.
20 February 2007 - Star's puppies turn 8 weeks old today and leave for their new homes. The lucky girl to be staying at Rocket Boxer is Rocket's Sky's The Limit ("Skye").

26 December 2006 - Seven little boxer puppies arrived on Boxing Day 2006. The count is 2 flashy fawn females, 1 white female, 3 flashy fawn males and 1 plain fawn male. The dam is Ch. Bluecollar's Starship Mercury RN NA NAJ CGC TT and the sire is Am/Ca Ch. Naja's Enterprise of Summer. See the Litter Information page for more information.
24 September 2006 - no brags, but I do have pictures from our latest agility trial. 23rd September and 24th September.
5 August 2006 - Star gets her 3rd and final leg for her rally novice title.
22 July 2006, Reliant - Star gets her first open standard agility qualifying score and her first 2 Rally Novice legs.
9 May 2006 - Star gets her second performance title - NA - at the American Boxer Club National Speciality in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
16 April 2006 - Star gets her first performance title - NAJ. On Saturday at the CDTC AKC trial in Hutto, TX in our first run of the day Star got a jumper's Q and a 2nd place for her title. In our 2nd run, Star got a 1st place and another standard Q. Way to go Star!!! Agility Pictures April 2006
19 March 2006 - At our first AKC Agility Trial of the year, on Saturday Star gets a 1st place in jumper's and her 1st jumper's Q. Then on Sunday, she gets a 2nd place in jumper's and her 2nd jumper's Q. Very exciting!!!
18 Feb 2006 - Star earns her CGC (Canine Good Citizen). Way to go, Star!!!!!
2005
Nov, 2005 - Star gets her first agility qualifying score for a standard run at an AKC Agility Trial held in Katy, Texas. What excitement! We have been working very hard towards this goal so it was a thrilling experience, made extra special because her breeders were there to see her do it.
10 September 2005 - Star passes her Temperament Test.
May, 2005 - Star and I go to the American Boxer Club National Speciality in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, for the very first time. We competed in agility (her 3rd agility trial) and the best of breed competition. What fun! We will definitely be back next year.
Feb, 2005 - Star makes her agility debut! Well, it was nothing to write home about (lots of wild zooming and not much else, other than Star having a BLAST) but it is the start of a new chapter for both of us!
Jan, 2005 - Star is a New Champion! On the 9th January 2005 in Glen Rose, Texas, Star finishes up her championship owner-handled. What excitement!
